Attendance Area Boundary Maps
Welcome to South-Western City School District School Viewer/Attendance Zone Search
School Viewer is an interactive search process providing you with the ability to view school attendance zone boundaries, drill down to a specific address, identify school walk-able zones and print out a personalized map for use with your students.
You may need to install the web browser plug-in Silverlight. Please go to http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/get-started/install/default.aspx to acquire the latest version of this free software.
Note:You may use the Systems Requirements tab to determine the version of Silverlight that is required for your operating system or preferred browser.
Where to Start Your Search
Go to SWCS Maps to begin your search. Select the type of school you would like to view in the “What would you like to view?” menu (on the left) followed by making a selection under the “What would you like to do?” in the interactive menu on the right. Always look for the “Clear” button to return you to your original starting point.
Information you can find using the interactive mapping tools:
- Enter an address to find the school zones for that address
- Click on the map to identify the school zone for this geographical location
- Zoom to a school boundary (Allows the user to see street level detail for the attendance zone)
- Zoom to a walk able zone (Allows the user to identify the walking zones around an individual building)
Disclaimer:
The geographic imagery utilized in this application is provided by ESRI ArcGIS Online. The satellite photos are the same as those used by Google Earth or Bing search engines. Images may be six to twelve months behind the current physical status of the property based on the last time ArcGIS received updated satellite photos. South-Western City School District does not maintain these images internally and has no control over their appearance or availability within the application.
